TEXAS STATE UNIVERSITY GRADUATE | HAYLIE

I LOVE traveling to new locations for photo sessions. This session was at Texas State University Graduate in San Marcos and I brought my granddaughter (and assistant) Alana with me. I really wanted a ride buddy and some behind the scenes assistance. And I'm so glad she came because she loved the TSU campus! So did I! I hadn't seen that campus in years and I was so impressed!

But its huge!! I met up with Haylie and her family near the Lyndon B. Johnson statue. I had only spoke with Haylie via email & text prior to this day and when I met her in person, I saw how beautiful she is!! And thank you Haylie - she came with a plan for her session. She knew exactly what locations on campus she wanted to take her photos at. Haylie is a runner and also walks very fast. My little short legs were doing their best to keep up with her!! LOL!!! But she knew what she was doing - the locations were all amazing and we got some great photos!! Of course, she couldn't take a bad photo if she tried!

I got to know Haylie and her family a little better as we walked around the campus. Haylie is graduating with a Bachelors degree in Social Study. She is already working in San Antonio with an agency that helps the homeless and people with addictions. Helping people with these problems is her passion. Haylie obtained her degree while also raising two children. She asked if I would include her children in a few of her photos. Of course!! Her kids were the cutest and sweetest babies - it was a pleasure to have them pop in to a few photos.

I want to send a special thank you to Haylie and her family - first of all for choosing me to capture this proud moment and also for being so kind to me. You were all so helpful on the day of the session! I am very grateful. Haylie - congratulations and thank you for having a heart to help people. I wish you much success!!
