ENGAGEMENT SESSION | SAM & IRELAND

They met at a Schroeder Hall when Sam was a senior and Ireland was a freshman. They dated for a couple of months and then both went their separate ways. But they never forgot one another.

A couple of years later, they finally made their way back to each other and this time they fell in love. They have been inseparable ever since. Sam was Ireland's first dance, first kiss and first love. On July 12 of this year, while on a family vacation in Johnson City, Sam led Ireland to the top of a wine bar in the Hill Country. He got down on one knee and proposed to Ireland with a beautiful, sparkly diamond ring. Of course Ireland said YES!!

I was so happy to be asked to photograph their engagement session. Ireland loves old rustic buildings and led us to a little community that I've never been to (and don't think I could find again!) and we found some wonderful old buildings for their session. We came back and found some other great locations at her family's property. But who is looking at the background when you have these two good looking faces in the photos? In one pose, I had Ireland and Sam look into each other's eyes. I asked Sam "did her eyes cause you to fall in love?" He quietly nodded yes.

And THAT is why I love engagement sessions!!!

Sam and Ireland are planning a beautiful wedding in May, 2020. I know she is going to be a gorgeous bride!!! Thank you Sam and Ireland (and mom Amber!) for choosing me to capture your love. May God bless you all forever.
