Shelbey + Mark ~ Let Love Sparkle
Chapter One ~
Shelbey & Mark met in high school, hung out with all the same friends. Mark got bold one day and decided to message Shelbey on Facebook, just to say hi. They started chatting and became pretty smitten with one another. Mark asked Shelbey to be his girlfriend and already knew he wanted her in his life FOREVER. They were inseparable.
Chapter Two ~
After several years of dating, Shelbey & Mark took a trip to Cabo San Lucas with friends. He had a special surprise for Shelbey on this trip. In order for me to tell you this story correctly, I went to their Facebook page and found a video of the actual proposal. It was a short video but I have to tell you - it brought tears to my eyes! Mark arranged for Shelbey to be brought forward in front of the entire resort. He quietly followed her and she turned around and he was on one knee with a sparkley beautiful ring. Soooooo romantic!! The whole resort was cheering and whooping! Shelbey loves Mark with all her heart and you can see in all the other Cabo photos from the weekend that she was beaming with happiness.
Chapter Three ~
Shelbey & Mark's wedding day truly took my breath away. One of my favorite things to do at a wedding is to photograph all the décor. The Venue in Cuero was where the wedding & celebration were held and on this day there were fresh, fragrant flowers EVERYWHERE. Kurt & Co did the decorations and he turned The Venue into a beautiful garden. I am obsessed with fresh flowers and I don't know which I did more - take photos or stick my nose in every single arrangement. It was stunning.
This day was full of perfect, beautiful moments but one of the most memorable moments of the day was the walk down the aisle at the ceremony. Shelbey was breathtaking in her David Tutera gown on the arm of her daddy who cried all the way down the aisle. Mark was at the front of the aisle with tears in his eyes as he watched his beautiful bride come towards him. And Shelbey held on to her daddy and beamed from ear to ear as she watched the two men she loves most in the world cry. When the pastor asked "Who gives this bride?" Her daddy replied "I guess I have to!" There were lots of laughter through tears. It was such a precious moment.
It was time to party!! The party was so much fun - no one left the dance floor all night. DJ Versus kept the music hopping and provided the most dramatic first dance with his fog machine that surrounded the bride & groom like a fluffly cloud.

Mark & Shelbey - words are not enough when I think of how grateful I am that you chose me to photograph your sparkly love day. You made everything so perfect and I am honored that you trusted me to capture all the beautiful details. I will be stalking you both on Facebook and will be celebrating every wonderful moment that you spend with each other. I love you both and pray to our Father that your love and happiness be eternal.
