Chapter Two - The Proposal

You may remember Chapter One - Kelby took Kristian on a first date to Red Lobster. His way to propose was to completely re-create the first date. So he told her to get dressed, he was taking her to dinner. They had a lovely time together and then he took her to his parents house in the country. He took Kristian to the backyard where there was a fire pit going, lights in the trees and tiki lights lit. It was a beautiful sight - Kristian was thinking "what is going on??????" Kelby dropped to one knee and asked her to spend forever with him. Kristian is completely in love with Kelby so it took her no time to say "YES!!"

Chapter Three - The Wedding Day

The wedding day was so perfect. The weather was so mild - it wasn't hot or cold (we know that is rare for South Texas!!). The ceremony and reception were held at Red Barn in Port Lavaca which is is rustic and intimate. The ceremony was so beautiful - I loved capturing Kelby 's eyes water as he watch Kristian walk down the aisle. Krisian was a vision as she walked down the aisle in her gown by Essence of Australia. She was simply perfection. She just beamed as she kept her eyes on Kelby. The wedding was officiated by my assistant - Pastor Vicki Corte - yes! she is an officiant! She makes the ceremony soo sweet and personal. There were smiles and tears during the ceremony as the couple pledged to love each other forever. After the ceremony, the wedding party didn't walk down the aisle to exit - no - they danced down the aisle. Best exit EVER!!!

That was a perfect segway to a super fun party. Once the dancing started there was no sitting down anymore. It was such a fun night!!!

Happily Ever After....

Kristian & Kelby are quiet souls. I hadn't mentioned above the most important part of their lives which is their one year old son Bentley. He is such a handsome little boy with sparkling eyes and a huge smile. He is the center of this love story. They adore Bentley. They make the cutest little family.
